

Arthur Birch is Chairman & CEO of ECSI International. A few years after implementing his plan that increased the revenues of Lightolier from $35 million to $56 million in five years, he opted to take his experience, creativity and innovative mind set to another level. He co-founded Bajer Industries, a manufacturing company of lighting products. Arthur founded ECSI Industries, an HVAC company, in 1976, which evolved into an international security and anti-terrorism technology system solutions company. His management and marketing experience has contributed to ECSI’s current success, which includes an international list of government agencies and commercial/industrial customers.
Ronald Thomas is President of SEM Consultants III, the design and engineering division, and a Director of the Company with over 25 years of experience in engineering, management and marketing in the electronic security industry. He is a former President and CEO of Securacom, Inc., a security systems integrator that specialized in the design and implementation of medium to large-scale projects for businesses and government; EVP of SenTech, Inc. a company that provided business software to the security, fire and life safety industry; and VP of Technology and Integrated Systems for ADT Security Systems. Mr. Thomas has a Master of Science, Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY and a Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical from City College/CUNY in New York City. He is a member and past chairman of the American Society for Industrial Security, Council on Physical Security and a member of several professional organizations. Mr. Thomas has published numerous articles in various trade journals on integrated security systems and is a frequent speaker at industry workshops and seminars. He has served on the faculty of the U.S. General Services Administration, Federal Protective Service, and Physical Security Academy.
Daryl Holcomb is Chief Financial Officer of ECSI International. He has over 25 years of experience in financial management, including over 15 years as CFO of public companies. Mr. Holcomb has been responsible for all facets of the financial management function, including: management reporting, SEC and other regulatory reporting, capital resources and liquidity, financial aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, product pricing and costing, and commercial insurance and employee benefits, including retirement plan management. He holds an MBA and CPA certification.
Robert Oliver is Vice President of Operations, responsible for product design and engineering, R&D, production scheduling, purchasing and inventory control in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards. Mr. Oliver brings decades of experience and innovation in engineering design and management to this position. He has successfully performed and managed the design, test, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of products and systems in avionics, nuclear power plants, power instruments, medical devices, medical instruments, research instruments, surveillance and life safety for military, law enforcement, hospital, surgical, industrial, commercial and consumer markets domestically and internationally. He has functioned at all levels, including CEO. He has enjoyed successful deployment of security systems of his own design while working through AE firms such as Syska & Hennessey and Flack & Kurtz, among others; for clients that include major banks and brokerage houses. He holds multiple patents in the US and elsewhere for industrial and security products and systems.
Thomas Isdanavich is Vice President of Project Management. He has over 30 years of experience in managing complex integrated security system projects, both CONUS and OCONUS. Mr. Isdanavich's experience includes design, integration and implementation of security projects for DoD (Air Force and Navy), DoE, NRC nuclear power stations, as well as several high-profile international customers. He is former Petty Officer Third Class in the U.S. Navy.
Richard Stern is Vice President of Marketing and Sales Support. In this capacity, he has successfully marketed the IPID® system to ECSI's DoD, DoE, and NRC customer base. Mr. Stern has developed a strong rapport with customers through his hands-on approach. He provides technical support to new and existing customers, often times traveling to sites for routine visits or to participate in standard support services, such as system installation supervision, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance training, and full life cycle support.
Jerry Dropik is Director of Business Development. Mr. Dropik was based in Cairo, Egypt for 2½ years and developed the Company’s representatives and dealer/installers in Egypt, Iraq, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As Vice President for Lucent Technologies, he organized and led a culturally-diverse sales, business development and administration team for five years in Cairo, Egypt which grew to 650 employees and $300 million in sales. He was also responsible for Public/Government Affairs for Cairo, GOE, USAID Agency, Egypt’s U.S. Embassy, and Washington, D.C. Mr. Dropik also served on the Overseas Security Advisory Council of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and was a member of the U.S. Ambassador’s Technical Council that addressed communications and security threats. As Sales Support Director for AT&T, he headed a team of sales managers and market and senior project consultants to support sales of switching, transmission and cable/fiber system sales to various telecommunications corporations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa with sales of $500 million annually. Mr. Dropik holds a B.S. in Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and completed electrical engineering studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Yaser Hassan is Senior Project Engineer. He has over 20 years of experience as a products engineer, systems engineer and data communications specialist. Mr. Hassan has been responsible of the design, integration and implementation of complex integrated security systems utilizing a wide variety of off-the-shelf technologies and custom assemblies. He has a wide range of experience with all modes of data communications, including fiber optics and wireless media. Mr. Hassan has developed and implemented a variety of integrated security solutions for various sectors, such as airports, ports, refineries, pipelines, and other international projects. He holds a B.S. in Communications and Electro Physics from Alexandria University in Egypt and is fluent in Arabic.
Eldon Moberg is Senior Field Engineer. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of logistics support, including maintenance and training; development, manufacturing and testing of fiber optic and electronic components; handling and preparation of fiber optic components such as jacketed and bare cable, couplers, lasers and various termination devices; use of specialized fiber optic tools and test equipment, electronic test equipment, technical documentation and software programs. Mr. Moberg has 20 years of Army missile system maintenance, logistic support, research and development, training development and general supervisory and managerial experience.
