ECSI’s
Intelligent Video Motion Detection
Systems are customized for each client
site using any or all of the following
four components:
- Behavior
Watch
- Trigger
- Cortex
- iSense
BEHAVIOR WATCH
An advanced video content analysis
system, Behavior Watch™
detects and tracks objects in video
frames, allowing users to select from
a rich set of detectable behaviors
to alert upon. Behavior Watch is a
part of ECSI’s Tri-layered protection
solution developed for use by homeland
security offices, commercial and industrial
facilities. The system is built on
proprietary, solid technology foundations
in the field of video image understanding
and efficient, parallel computing
for object detection, tracking and
event detection. Behavior Watch can
cope with diverse scenarios and environmental
disturbances to provide high probability
of detection with extremely low false
alarm rates. Four or eight concurrent
video feeds can be analyzed by the
product’s CPU with unparalleled
computational efficiency.

TRIGGER
A powerful video content analysis
engine, TRIGGER is
part of ECSI’s “Behavior
Watch on a Board.” Compact,
low -powered and affordable, this
video detection and transmission product
converts surveillance cameras into
smart real-time sensors for use in
the front-end of perimeter and site
protection systems. TRIGGER uses a
pair of digital signal processing
(DSP) processors to analyze four video
channels concurrently with MPEG-4
encoding and streaming. TRIGGER primarily
targets remote locations, enabling
video capture, image sequence analysis
for automatic event detection and
video transmission over an existing
LAN infrastructure. TRIGGER processes
video smartly and independently near
the camera, thereby increasing detection
accuracy and fault tolerance while
reducing network bandwidth and overall
operational costs. Video may be streamed
to the Control Center continuously
On-Event or On-demand. Virtually unlimited
number of TRIGGER units can be managed
by ECSI’s Cortex™ (Central
Station Monitoring software).

CORTEX
Real Time Video Based Central Monitoring
Station System
ECSI’s CORTEX,
a video-based Central Monitoring Station
(CMS) system, simultaneously manages
numerous live video alarms from multiple
remote sites. CORTEX remotely configures
and controls multiple remote video
edge devices for object detection
and tracking, object counting, behavior
identification as well as alarm and
video transmission.

iSENSE
Video Edge Device with Built-in Camera
Data Sheet
Compact and cost effective,
iSense is a smart video edge
device integrating an on-board camera,
embedded video analytics and video/audio
transmission. iSense uniquely combines
video tailgating detection, people
counting and biometric face verification
into a solution that enhances existing
access control systems. iSense uses
propriety object detection and biometric
tracking technologies to implement
an important part of ECSI’s
Tri- Layered Shield for perimeter
, site and access protection.
