Flight Line Security®

FLS®: Flight Line Security® Series 4000F
FLS
® was developed to protect high valued assets at air bases including aircraft parking areas, igloos and flight lines. The pulsed Infrared Perimeter Intrusion Detection (IPID®) system is comprised of all commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) proven and certified technologies. FLS® uses solid state electronics that are not affected by environmental conditions such as birds, small animals, snow, puddles, leaves or grass. It works in rain, snow and fog, instantly identifying the intrusion zone via normally open or closed dry contacts that can be interfaced with any user's data communication and annunciator. FLS® does not emit false alarms. The system will only alarm if an object breaks the 3.54 in" diameter beam more than 98.5%.

Operation of Photovoltaic Power System (PPS)
The PPS offers an ideal solution for low current draw remote systems, eliminating the need for external voltage regulators and improving the MTBF factors. High reliability is ensured through quality assurance processes. With the photovoltaic panel mounted on the FLS® assembly, a system becomes self-contained and applicable for remote and sensitive areas. Tamper and low power signals can be reported to central control through the use of the rapid deployment RF communication system.

ECSI's Interoperability Device Management System (IDMS®) is a PC based monitoring and control system used for monitoring, control and assessment of FLS® systems. IDMS® utilizes hardware and applications software, which are configured to provide a user-friendly system for recording alarms.

This operating system runs the Graphic User Interface (GUI), the Database Management (DMS) and sensor specific utility interfacing software.
